Your safety is our business, and we take it seriously!

Learn To Ride VC was created to get you trained and get you on the road with the skills to survive the ride. If you are a new motorcyclist, looking to get your license, or an experienced rider looking to brush up on your skills or get comfortable on your new bike, we have a course for you!

Your successful completion of the basic Motorcyclist Training Course (MTC) may waive the California DMV skills test for anyone 18 years of age and over. This course is a requirement for anyone under the age of 21.

Learn To Ride VC successfully trains over 1,500 students a year! Our instructors are California Motorcyclist Safety Program (CMSP) certified professionals with the knowledge, skill, and patience to guide you through your training.

We're not just a motorcycle safety school, we're your life long riding partner!

As your skills as a motorcyclist grow and evolve, we are here to offer additional training. We encourage all of our students to keep in contact, so that we may provide you with valuable resources and information to help you continue to grow as a safe, aware, and skilled motorcyclist, long after the course has ended.

Meet the owner!

Larry Missman has been a motorcycle enthusiast since the age of ten. From a 50 cc Honda to sport bikes to Harleys, he has ridden them all throughout his life. As a public speaker for riders in his community, and an advocate for safety, Larry decided to pursue a career in motorcycle training.

Having taught thousands of students, his dedication and passion for teaching led him to attain ownership of Learn To Ride VC.
